ikatehouse …mini haul !!!

The reason I found this site was because I was looking everywhere for this under eye concealer that I will share with you all later in this post. People on youtube said that it was at their local cvs, walmart, target ..etc! But it wasn't at my local stores. So I came across this website and I'm so happy I did!!! How do I describe ikatehouse.com well its like everything I buy at my local stores ..but for cheaper !!!

This website is like God's gift to poor makeup junkies … (ME) !!!
So lets unwrap my package and see what I purchased...
It came all bundle up in pink … I was SOLD !!

So first on my list was the L.A Girl Pro Concealer HD. I actually tried this today and I absolutely loveeeeeeee it. I seen a few gurus on youtube use this concealer for a highlight and I am in love with it. It goes on creamy and dry to a matte finish that doesn't leave the skin feeling ashy. It really pops in photos . Love it.. best part $1.99 … DEAL !!!
Next I purchased some lashes .. Cause girls love lashes. The dumb thing about me purchasing these lashes were that I purchased 5 of the same kind so if I didn't like how they looked I would have been screwed. But I tried them on and they look fabulous ! And these were $1.99 as well.

Last on my mini haul was this ardell brow sculpting gel. This beauty guru said it kept her brows in place all day …so of course I had to try it.. And it did !!! It doesn't give you the greasy feeling that eyebrow wax gives. And this bad boy was only $3.99

And that all I purchased from ikatehouse.com but recommend this website. It was $2.95 to ship my items to me and they came within like 3 business days so I was excited about that. Thanks for reading …xoxo

Eye Shadow Tip

This might be common sense to many... But it definitely wasn't one to me! So I have been using nyx eyeshadow base.
And it's an amazing base because it's white so any color you apply to your lid pops. However when I watch YouTube tutorials people applied the base and would go straight to eyeshadow. But when I did this I found that there would still be a visible crease.
I tried putting eye shadow primer ontop of the base and that solved my problem. So base, primer, eyeshadow in that order! Xoxo

Ulta Haul!!!

Oh I shouldn't have ... No really I shouldn't have... But I did !!! A package came today and it came from Ulta!!
Let's see what's inside ...
Real Techniques brushes. I have seen these brushes in so many people videos I absolutely had to try them. So I went over board and bought 3 sets ... Ahhh! How I determine if I'm going to like brushes ... If they're soft! And these definitely passed the test. The last thing I recieved in my box were ....
These Ulta glitter eye top coat eye shadows . So I tried doing a swatch of them...
But it didn't really come out well. This picture does these shadows no justice. They're amazing and who doesn't love glitter. I'll just have to show a makeup look using one of them. But that's all folks! Xoxo

DIY Lemon . Sugar . Honey . Scrub

I have seen this scrub everywhere with some ingredients the same and some different. So I decided ... I'm going to try it!
I used regular white sugar, half a lemon, pure honey and argon oil. Here's the bad thing about my experiment ... I didn't measure anything. Ugh lol. I used a  regular bowl to mix the ingredients...
                      First the sugar
Next I added the honey and I basically just covered the surg at with it so barely any white was showing (that's as good as measurements are going to get lol)
Then I squeeze half a lemon ( made sure to take out all the seeds) and then used two squirts of argon oil.
I mixed it all together till I made a thick consistency. Oh LaLa it smelled good! I painted it on my face with a makeup brush. I started licking it till I remembered there was hair oil in it ... I don't think that's safe to eat. But anywho I left it on for 10 minutes. I washed my face off with cool water. I loved how my face felt after. My boyfriend tried it too ( I forced him) but he also loved the results. We moisturized our faces and we were done.  Try it you just might love it too. xoxo

Flash Back

So makeup takes practice ... Lol look where I came from and still have a long way to go.

My First Cruise and my bad attempt at a Vlogg

My New Beginning .. Hello YouTube

A Friendly Make Over

I decided to practice putting on makeup on someone besides myself. So I kidnapped my friend .. Haha!
So here is my blank canvas.
And this is the finished product in which I posted on my Instagram!
I got my inspiration for this look on Pinterest. I used a mixture of golds on her lid. I extended the top eyeliner into a wing and brought it back into the crease to give this look an edge. To give this look a pop I added a turquoise eyeshadow under the lower lashes. I used my Fit Me  foundation by Maybelline. To fill in the brows I used my NYX brow palette in which I absolutely love! And to lock in this look we went with a deep burgundy lip and that is by Milani! Xoxo

Red Ombré Make Up Look

I achieved this look my using my Shany makeup palette. It's a very inexpensive palette and the colors are super pigmented. I used red, orange and yellow on the lid. And a brown as a transition color. It was a fun funky look. Hat and Lashes by trueorfalseproducts.com

First Blog of the year .. Where to begin?!

So I was wondering how did I want to kick off my blog for the beginning of the year. And although I am 12 days late this is my first blog of the year. So I decided to start from the beginning before the eyeshadows, blushes, contour, foundation and concealers ... Oh and lipstick of course. Let's start with our canvas. (Me with no makeup)
Before you apply makeup to your face you must truly love the skin you're in. You should feel beautiful walking out with no makeup. And I believe that is the most important step of the glam process. People often think that people that wear makeup aren't confident and that is not true at all. We are confident we just enjoy the art of makeup. So for my first blog of the year I just wanted to share with everyone the real me who I am behind the makeup. Thanks so much for reading my blog and remember you're beautiful!
