Sugar Lush Lip Scrub Review

Winter time is my favorite time of the year to wear makeup. Everything pretty much stays in place and sweating is at a minimum. But no matter how great my makeup stays on, I feel that my lips never seem to cooperate. My lips always seem to chap or peel after I apply lipstick throughout the day. I knew this year I needed to try something new. So when I found “Sugar Lush” by Brianne Campbell on Instagram I knew I had to try out her product.

I contacted the company and received my lip scrub within a week. The customer service was amazing. Brianne always kept me informed as to when my package was being sent and quickly responded back to emails.

I received a cotton tip applicator, one chapstick “Chap Ice”

and two lip scrubs “ Olive You “
and “ Brown Sugar Baby “

I followed the directions and tried the product out for 10 days. ( which I still continue to use it)

I love this product because it's home made and it actually works. I see much improvement in my lips.
The lip scrub sells for $ 8.00 in a 1 ounce jar
On her website you can more scrubs

Behind The Scenes: Luna Edition

I remember it like yesterday.. well it was more like earlier this year.
I wrote a makeup artist off of craigslist asking them for an opportunity to be their makeup assistant.
So I came across the beautiful and talented Luna.
Who later down the line invited me to her photo shoot.
I was so excited <3 p="">
I even was able to borrow one of her models to practice on

Free Makeup Class at MUD

Make-up Designory is such an amazing school for makeup artist.
However it's just extremely expensive.
So when I heard they offered FREE makeup classes.
I had to get involved.
After months of trying to get into a free makeup class I finally got a ticket.
And then days later I was able to get a ticket for my friend to come with me.
The class was a duration of 2 hours.
The instructor: Audrey DaCosta
She has so much experience with T.V makeup and shared that she usually only has 20 minutes to work on clients.
Although she went over the time I didn't care I wanted to soak up as much knowledge as possible.
A model was chosen from the class. (next time I'll wear no makeup)
At the end of the class 30% off MUD makeup is offered.
Which was awesome but I didn't purchase anything.
I had such an amazing time.

Halloween 2014 ..with friends !

Halloween 2014

I wait last minute to plan for halloween and always end up a cat .
But I wore it well I plopped on my crazy wig and made it do what it do!

My Very First Photo-Shoot Experience

I had my first photo-shoot ever.
Let me share my experience:
First and foremost I was terrified. I had never met the model or the photographer before.
And naturally I am a nervous reck!
I feel when you decide to network with people ..do your research!
Stalk their social networks, stalk their friends make sure you're meeting the person you are meeting.
Give your loved ones the location. And contact them to let them know you're safe.
Also have faith in God that he will protect you.
On to the actual shoot..
So I had previously contacted the model about the look she wanted.
I think this step is important so you know to bring the right palette.
She wanted glitter and naturally I don't travel with glitter. So it was a good thing I talked to her ahead of time.
I went to the location where I would do her makeup giving myself extra time to get there.
I arrived 20 minutes early.
That gave me time to set up and get to know the model.
I love knowing about people and their lives.. I talk a lot!
With the actual application it took me an hour.
I chose not to set the makeup with a translucent setting powder.
I was so scared that it will leave a white cast so I chose not just set with spray.
I'm so happy with my decision the pictures came out so beautiful.
I made sure to talk to the photographer to see if the photos were coming out good on camera.
I had the time of my life.
Networking is an awesome thing!
